At the February 20 Commission meeting, board members voted to approve moving forward with several Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) projects. They also voted to amend the SPLOST timeline, which you can read about here. Click each item to learn more about the project.
- $316,250 to relocate utilities along Jeffersonville road, which is undergoing a major overhaul (pictured above)
- $250,000 will fund a roundabout near Navicent Health at Forsyth, Spring, and Pine Streets (pictured below)
- $206,000 for road and sidewalk improvements at Middle Georgia State University
- $100,000 to construct sidewalks on Pine Hill Drive in East Macon-Bibb
