From the Bibb County Board of Elections:

The National Association of Secretaries of State, recognizing the importance of voter registration, designated September 25, 2012, as the first National Voter Registration Day. It has been celebrated on the fourth Tuesday in September since then.

September is National Voter Registration Month

If you’re already registered, great! Take time to remind loved ones to sign up to vote or check their registration.

Do you have any friends or relatives who recently turned 18? Maybe a niece or nephew who moved to a new address? What about your cousin who got married this summer?  If they changed their name, they probably need to update their voter registration record.

It’s a good idea to check your registration especially before the registration deadline.

The deadline to register to vote or update a voter record for the November 6, 2018 General Election is: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2018
