In its ongoing efforts to improve communication between the consolidated government and the public, MaconBibbTV has upgraded its website to make it easier for people to view the videos produced. To check out the new site – and learn more about Macon-Bibb County – click here.

“The original website was a great initial source of information, but this upgraded site allows for a richer, high-definition media experience,” says Trae McCombs, MaconBibbTV Manager.

Featured on the new page are the three most recent feature videos, a link to watch Commission Meetings, and recent news items. Links are also featured to community efforts, including cuffed (a partnership between Crimestoppers and The Telegraph), community television shows, and Ovations 365, the online source for arts, cultural, and community events in Middle Georgia. Social media buttons have been added to each of the videos so people can more easily share them. In addition to the online content, a Program Guide has been added to let people know when shows air on Cox Cable Channel 14 and Digital 94-1

“Our new website gives citizens a front-row seat for all the action, on demand and at their convenience,” says Jami Gaudet, Public Relations Specialist. “The new site is bolder, brighter, and more user-friendly, and chock-full of information, including a new Program Guide. Our motto – be informed, be inspired!”

“From the very outset of consolidation, we wanted to increase and improve the information being provided to the public,” says Chris Floore, Assistant to the County Manager for Public Affairs. “From live streaming Commission Meetings to feature videos about consolidation and partner organizations, MaconBibbTV is providing people with an inside look at their community.”
