Macon – Bibb County grand jurors indicted a 36-year-old Macon man Tuesday on allegations he engaged in sex acts with a then-14-year-old girl in March 2017.
Willie James Davis is charged with statutory rape and aggravated child molestation, according to an indictment filed in Bibb County Superior Court.
An indictment is a charging document issued by grand jurors if the group determines probable cause exists for the case to move forward toward trial. Each defendant is presumed to be innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
