Two Macon-Bibb parks will soon see improvements. Commissioners approved Phase 1 of the Master Plans for Mattie Hubbard Jones Park, (located at the corner of 1st and 2nd Avenues, near L.H. Williams Elementary School) and Henry Burns Park (corner of Ingleside and Ridge Avenues).
Renovations are being paid for with voter-approved SPLOST money, and WM2A is the architecture firm for both. You can find details on the Mattie Hubbard Jones Park plan here, and the Henry Burns Park plan here.
