Macon – Bibb County grand jurors met Tuesday and returned 14 indictments.  An indictment is a charging document issued by grand jurors if the group determines probable cause exists for the case to move forward toward trial.  Each defendant is presumed to be innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.

Indictments returned include:

  • Robert Samuel Reynolds, 27, of Warner Robins, is charged with rape, statutory rape and child molestation on allegations he forcibly had sex with a girl under the age of 16 on Sept. 16, 2017.
  • Romel Donte King, 29, and Keyondra Shauntae Lowe, 28, both of Macon, are each charged with cruelty to children in the second degree stemming from allegations Lowe was holding a child on Feb. 15, 2016, when she and King participated in a physical altercation that resulted in the child’s skull being fractured.
  • David Charles Fortt, 46, of Covington, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault on allegations he rammed a house on Greenleaf Drive with a truck on Aug. 26, 2017, while two people were inside.
