Macon-Bibb County government offices will be closed on Monday, July 4, 2016 in recognition of Independence Day. Solid waste, yard waste, and recycling pickup will be delayed one day that week, so if you’re regular pickup day is Monday, it will be Tuesday. The landfill will be open Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
