Public Hearings on new vacation rentals ordinance, Alcohol Code changes

Commissioner Virgil Watkins has proposed a new Short Term Vacation Rental (STVR) ordinance and revisions to Macon-Bibb County’s Alcohol Code. He and the Commission are hosting public hearings on Thursday, July 19, 2018, to hear from people that could be impacted by or are interested in these topics.

The hearings will be held in Commission Chambers in Government Center (700 Poplar Street) at 5:00 p.m. for the STVR ordinance and 6:00 p.m. on the Alcohol Code changes. Anyone interested in the discussion but unable to attend can watch it live on Facebook, MaconBibbTV, and Cox Cable Channel 14.
