The Recreation Department will begin opening its public pools for the summer beginning Memorial Day Weekend. Four of the pools will open on Saturday, May 25, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and will begin the full summer schedule on Tuesday, May 28.

The cost to get into the pools will be $1.00, with an additional $1.00 to use the water slide at the Delores A. Brooks Recreation Center. The pools will be open Tuesday – Friday from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The only pool which will open at a later date, is the pool at Bloomfield Community Center. Follow the Macon-Bibb Recreation Department’s Facebook page for an update on when that pool will open.
